what she does have is the ability to look much more fabulous now in one of the outfits she used jimmy's funds to buy for herself, a fitted and very sequined suit jacket over a dress that looks more like it's made for clubbing than just walking around in. but that's her style, no doubt about it. no wig, though. she's actually starting to get used to her shaved head, although some of the blonde has started to grow in all fuzzy and light.
he's an easy profile to spot, at least, and she strolls up to him with that same lack of hesitancy as before.
there might be a coyness to her smile that wasn't there last time, though. ]
[ a big dumb smile appears on his face as he notices her. for a split-second he almost looks confused by her choices in fashion, but who is he to judge a lady for the way she dresses? he has also found himself something new to wear: a dark leather coat with a dark shirt and a vest to go under it. the top buttons of the shirt are obviously unbuttoned, his chest hair needs to breathe too. ]

and she might understand that more than he thinks, even if it’s a fleeting thought that she gets distracted from mentioning when he motions to her.

when he comes closer and brings his other hand from behind his back, she can see it's now equipped with a hook. it's a replacement, but just as sharp as the original one. he could have gotten a prosthetic hand like jimmy suggested, but this felt like the right thing to do. it's visible how much he feels like himself again. ]

[ there’s no easy way for her to say she’s used to rougher treatment. it’s not like she has the scars to prove it but it’s also not the first time she’s ended up wearing shapeless and unflattering jumpsuits either. such is the life of a bad guy. occasionally you get caught, you do your time, you orchestrate a breakout.
her gaze drops to what he pulls out between them and her lips curve, part slightly for a broader grin. she doesn’t know the 411 about how he’d lost the hand but the glint of the hook as he turns it... it’s something sharp and impressive and she feels like that must be the whole point of it.

[ she knows the impression she gives off, with all her bright colors and tattoos and sequins. anyone wearing ink on their face isn’t going to be some goody-two-shoes either. but there are signs she’s made some changes to that even recently, the names that have either been crossed out or turned into something else, signs that she’s making some changes in her life.
