Last night, at the grand opening party, Charlotte started a quarrel with Lucy in the middle of the party, including pouring a full glass of wine down Lucy's dress.
The two of them were heatedly exchanging insults before I drew Lucy into the back room in order to advise her to gain control of the situation. Charlotte left her client in order to pursue and continue insulting her sister. I advised Charlotte to calm down, return to her client, and do her best to behave in a manner that would help repair some of the damage to the establishment's reputation. Lucy calmed down right away and did her best to calm Charlotte, but Charlotte's temper only worsened until she was insulting me most vehemently and spitting upon me.
When she spat at me I feared for my safety and also feared a further scene would damage the reputation of my business further than she already had. At that point I called for assistance and we had her gently subdued and removed from the premises.
I delivered her to the Down Court and Jail. She was unharmed upon arrival. You may pick her up there.
I made it quite clear to Charlotte but I want to reiterate to you because it is extremely obvious that Charlotte cannot control herself. I only hope you can control her. She is henceforth legally barred from any property I own, and if she perpetrates any assault upon myself or my property in the future, I will have her whipped.
I am deeply sorry to have to deliver this news to you and I regret that I was not able to prevent the situation from escalating in the manner that it did. I hope that these events will not significantly sour our acquaintance.
Please... try to protect Charlotte from herself. I was merciful but there are worse people than me that she could be making enemies of and picking fights with around Duplicity.
